Who can we help and how can we serve?
Pearl powder is made from micronized freshwater pearls and is naturally rich in over 30 bioavailable minerals and trace elements that the body recognises and utilises efficiently.
Key minerals include:
Calcium carbonate (the primary component, supporting bones, teeth & connective tissue)
Magnesium carbonate (nervous system, sleep, relaxation)
Silica (skin elasticity, hair & nails)
Selenium (antioxidant protection)
Iron oxide, iodine, sodium, copper, manganese & zinc
A full spectrum of amino acids and trace elements
Together, these nutrients support cellular regeneration, mineral balance, and long-term vitality — from the inside out.
Recent studies reveal that the DNA responsible for pearl formation shares significant similarities with the section of human DNA that regulates calcium metabolism. This remarkable resemblance suggests pearls may interact harmoniously with the human body. In fact, ancient Mayan civilizations leveraged this synergy by using pearls as dental fillings.
When consumed, pearl powder stimulates the body’s natural processes for skin cell regeneration, contributing to a youthful complexion. It may also enhance brain function, improve IQ, and extend longevity.
Pearl may have only one possible allergy. We would not recommend Pearl if you are allergic to shellfish. Even though we do not use any shellfish at our processing facilities, our Pearl comes from a natural environment and can have traces of shellfish. The iodine in pearls is naturally occurring.

Oxidative stress plays a major role in the development of cataracts. Pearl powder contains trace elements such as Zinc, Selenium, and Magnesium, as well as proteins, which help reduce oxidative stress in the lens.
Studies suggest that pearl protein extracts can slow or reduce lens opacity, helping maintain clearer lenses. If you have eye problems or cataracts specifically, you can mix pearl powder with organic castor oil or coconut oil. and apply it to the eyelids and the area around the eyes, as well as take pearl powder internally.
Pearl Powder has a significant effect on relieving problems such as dry eyes, blurred vision and eye fatigue, and is especially suitable for people who use their eyes for a long time, such as office workers and students. This effect is recorded in many ancient books, and modern research has also confirmed its scientificity.
In a human clinical trial, Dr Wang treated 28 cataract patients with 1,500 mg of pearl powder three times daily, while also applying it topically as an eye cream. After one month, 66% of patients showed visible improvement or recovery. This remarkable finding suggests that when properly nourished, the eyes have an innate capacity to regenerate.
While conventional approaches often replace natural tissue with synthetic materials, pearl powder provides the nutrients the eyes truly need to heal at their source. Our focus should be on feeding the eyes, not merely treating symptoms.

Pearl contains mainly calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which accounted for 91%, followed by silica, calcium phosphate, and ferric oxide as well as some trace elements such as sodium, magnesium, manganese, selenium, and copper.
It also contains essential amino acids such as histidine, lysine, arginine, valine, threonine, proline, methionine, leucine, phenylalanine, tryptophan and non-essential amino acids such as aspartic acid, glycine, alanine, glutamic acid, tyrosine, and serine
Adding pearl powder to your daily regimen can help boost your skin, hair, nails, cognition, and much more!

I am Letitia Webber, the Founder and Visionary behind Pearl Powder South Africa. My journey with pearl powder began in 2023 when I first experienced its life-transforming benefits firsthand. I was so inspired by the positive impact it had on my own well-being and that of my loved ones that I felt compelled to share it more broadly.
Leveraging my skills in graphic and web design, I recognized both a demand and a remarkable opportunity. Driven by the guiding question, “Who can I help, and how can I serve?”, I founded Pearl Powder South Africa to bring in only the highest-quality pearl powder available to our community.
Take 1–2 capsules daily. Many people prefer the evening, as its natural magnesium and trace minerals support relaxation and a good night’s rest. You can also take it any time of day - swallow the capsules, or open them and blend the powder into smoothies, herbal teas, or your favourite drink.
